This was a very interesting book. I picked it up because I had watched some of the Lizzie Borden Chronicles and I wanted to know more about the story. This book gives a great account of the murder and trial. It accurately portrays the various characters and the limitations of forensic science in that time. The book does not give the answer as to whether or not Lizzie Borden in fact committed the crime. It does, however, give a picture of Lizzie's life before and after the trial and how she made her way in life. I think this is an excellent book for anyone who wants to know more about Lizzie Borden.
