Sophie "Beware Of The Reader"
Delightful!

This is the most appropriate word to describe this 5 stars read.

I had my attention drawn to this book by Astrid @thebookishsweettooth. She was so enthusiastic my interest was picked and I ordered the book on an impulse.

This story simply is a little gem. Essentially character driven, the writing is light, charming, funny and just right.

Stella is a touching female character. Stella is Asperger and it means that as much as she is brilliant with numbers and econometrics she really

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang received so many rave reviews. I wanted to know why the hype, but I have to admit though I was a little wary at first. I took the plunge after I saw that a few of my blogger associates loved it. I chucked caution to the wind and dived right into the story. I am glad I did.

If I had to use one adjective to describe this book, the term used would be stunning. This is by far my favourite book for the year. There is a plethora of reviews in the blogosphere for this ti

Romantic comedies are not usually my thing but with the dumpster fire that is the world right now I wanted something light and happy. The Kiss Quotient most definitely fit the bill with its super sweet and sexy romance and quirky, likable main characters. I was a bit taken aback by all the graphic sex scenes but since I don't often read this genre I'm not sure how unusual this is. I find that my mind wanders a bit during the sex and that might be due in large part to listening to the audio versi ...more

there are advantages to being different

Overall 5 out of 5 stars
Performance 4 out of 5 stars
Story 5 out of 5 stars

Hearwarming was just the first word I thought of. But this one was so much more than just heartwarming. It was different, special, refreshing, enlightening, interesting. Aspergers' is not the end of the world. You just see the world differently. I loved the romance they built together. I loved Stella and all that was her. I loved Michael because he was doing him the best way he knew

Unfortunately, the last 50 or 70 pages seem to be hurried. This is disappointing as the first 250 or so pages were incredibly, simplistically, well-paced. I would still recommend this to all who enjoy rom-com stories. In a small sense, I'd came to like Michael's family so much that I wanted more about his family in the book. Maybe Miss Hoang is saving their stories for another book. ...more

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was romantic, funny and thoughtful. I loved the characters, (Michael's family was a hoot) and I loved the storyline about a woman with a type of autism (sorry, I can't remember the spelling and I'm trying to leave a quick review before I go to sleep) that causes her to pursue someone that can help her feel more confident and less awkward in her relationships. I gave the book a 4 because I wish the sex scenes weren't so steamy. This is definitely an Adult ...more

I'm glad this is over.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad this exists. Representation is so important across genres. I just really, really hate romance. This was so predictable and honestly a little boring. The sex scenes were graphic and I honestly skipped through most of them.
