What Members Thought
good story but slow starting.
SOme books, some authors are just that good in grabbing hold of the reader, of unfolding a story to keep the reader interested AND in presenting an unexpected ending. This is one of those books. There should be no wonder why this book is highly read and highly rated. Coming in less than 300 pages, if you are a reader that is generally open to reading best sellers, I suspect this book will not disappoint!
I loved how parallel the stories were and learning a little bit more about our nation's history. The ending was great (I don't want to spoil anything) and a true testament to the friendships that transcend generations. Read my full review here: https://lauranap12.blogspot.com/2017/...
