100 STARS! That's what it deserves if not more!

I wondered why so many baught this book but now I totally get it.
It's intense, gripping, packed with action and horror filled. The human specie is doomed: a plague like Ebola virus is killing humanity, death camps are set up by aliens to exterminate humanity and the humans are turning against other humans ...
You doubt all along who are the good guys and who are the bad guys. It's masterful, diabolical!

It alos raises many questions. What would you do

Well, it's not Shakespeare but it sure was entertaining! The story drew me in right away with it's The Walking Dead type setting where society has completely collapsed and the biggest danger seems to be other people. Or aliens that look like people. She was alive and mobile in the present, so whatever the injury ...more

This was a good book by the end. If I was a YA, I would really be intrigued with the heroine, Cassie, meeting up with one hero, Evan, and wonder how she would react meeting up with the other hero, Ben.

Not being a YA, I thought that the buildup -- the establishing of the events leading up to this book and the development of our main characters -- was over long. The buildup was presented by Cassie in first person past tense and seemed nearly endless, though this may indeed have been the best meth
