At just under 20 hours, I think Gone Girl is the longest audio-book I've listened to, and the actors did an excellent job. One of the reasons I was drawn to reading (or listening to) Gone Girl is because I've always enjoyed when an author writes a story with each character's perspective. It gives readers insight into what each of them might be feeling and thinking. I also heard The Girl on the Train dubbed as the "next Gone Girl," which I read last year, and since I thoroughly enjoyed listening

I did not have the luxury of being able to read this novel in one sitting which was a shame as it was so captivating I really wanted to read on and on. However I couldn’t wait until I picked it up again and it was easy to remember where I had left it.

I don't know who I hate more, Nick or Amy? But there's no character in this book that I like. Everyone is just awful yet it was a good book? My mind and feelings are torn. I just want to reach in and slap somebody! I am not accepting of the ending. There needs to be closure of some sort, doesn't there?
