Absolutely Brilliant - 5 Stars

This story had me hooked right from the beginning and refused to let me go. I realize that I am late to the game here as many have already read and reviewed this one. I will spare you a plot synopsis as there have been many reviews done before me but I do hope you give this story a chance.

Book read, movie watched. Interesting comparisons between the two. More so because Flynn wrote both and I am always fascinated by authors who get to retell their stories in another medium.

The Book Junkie Reads . . .
Absolutely an excellent read if you are into this kind of genre. . . suspenseful, intriguing, alluring, thrilling, seriously dramatic.

The POV switches a bit much and makes it hard to not be consumed by the various POV and to sympathize with them. I find both the main characters (Amy and Nick) to be sick individuals. After all is done I was in a WTF mode.

The sociopathic and machiavellian perfection of the main character is deeply horrifying and weirdly irresistible at the same time. ...more
