Jurassic Park (both the original book and the film franchise) is one of my favourite things. I've always loved dinosaurs, so I've seen the first movie at least 25 times since I was a kid.
This book pales in comparison to the first novel. Rumor has it that Crichton wrote this as an adaptation of the screenplay for the second movie, and I think it shows. I wish Stephen Spielberg had actually read this book before he made that movie...
