Through the Ever Night was one of my most anticipated releases of 2013. I must admit, I was expecting (fearing, really) it to suffer from "Middle Book Syndrome", as most second installments do. This my friends, is not the case. Full of heart ache, suspense and non stop action, Through the Ever Night is a wild ride you'll have difficulty putting down.

Veronica Rossi's sequel, "Through the Evernight" part of Rossi's Under the Never Sky trilogy, has the main characters fighting action packed battles against old and new enemies, and their ongoing battle for survival against the volatile elements caused by the Aether. Aria and Perry soon find themselves on dangerous political ground that one false step could wind up costing them more than they can afford to lose.

I loved the first book so I couldn't wait to start this book. I love that it picks up from where it ended in the first book and it is told primarily in Peri's POV. The story continued with edge of your seat action and so much heartache. I love these characters and this series! ...more
