i say this abt literally every sking novel but this is INFINITELY better than moobie (by which i mean the (kubrick) adaptation). i haven’t seen the miniseries that king worked on but am looking forward to it even tho shelley duvall is really the only valid wendy fc, idc if the book says she’s a blonde i simply choose to not see it. i mostly audiobooked this while roadtripping back to berkeley after some time back home in socal and i really really enjoyed the audiobook version which was narrated
