I loved this book to an extreme! It was so tragic yet beautiful and I felt like I was right there with Liesel and it hurt my heart when the events happened!! I am so glad I had to read this for a challenge!
I commited one of the #1 faults in the book world.
I watched the film first.
It was a disgrace.
I couldn't get over this, even if I'm 50 pages away from the end.

This was such a brilliant, intricately woven story. Liesel Meminger's life on Himmel Street in Nazi Germany during WWI really touched my heart.

I had some mixed feelings on this book. It took me awhile to get through it, but in the end I don't regret reading, and I'm actually quite glad I did read it. I think I might pick it up again in a few years and see how I feel about it then and if my feelings change at all.

This was an amazing book. I suggest reading this book when you have a lot of time so that you can fully understand the story line.
