Esta reseña va a ser un poco larga… Espero que nada de esto se considere spoiler.
¿Cómo explicar lo que siento por este libro?... Definitivamente es uno de mis favoritos del año y uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos porque es realmente hermoso. Esta calificado como YA pero es un libro que se puede leer un disfrutar a todas las edades y digo sin ninguna duda que se va a convertir en un clásico moderno, si es que ya no se lo considera uno. Seriously an amazing book. It had such a unique narrator and I couldn't put it down. I got so invested in the characters and the story was so believable! Definitely one that should be read by everyone especially in history classes when they are studying WWII. Just a wonderful book that makes you cry and laugh and everyone should read this book.

The Fault in Our Stars didn't make me cry, but this one did.
Narrated by Death itself, there is a new look on the Holocaust and World War 2. Instead of looking into the people in the Concentration Camps, and the Jewish population trying to avoid the Nazis, it looks into the life of a non-Jewish German family and the struggles that they faced, though they were not Jewish, but nonetheless a target of the Allies and a Jewish sympathizer. ...more

This was such a brilliant, intricately woven story. Liesel Meminger's life on Himmel Street in Nazi Germany during WWI really touched my heart.
I loved the writing and the pacing of the story. It was really interesting all the way through. Each character was so easy to imagine and detailed. This is definitely a book that's an insta-fave for me. ...more

I had some mixed feelings on this book. It took me awhile to get through it, but in the end I don't regret reading, and I'm actually quite glad I did read it. I think I might pick it up again in a few years and see how I feel about it then and if my feelings change at all.
