From the Bookshelf of Write and Read 4 Life…

I was drawn to this book because the movie was coming out, but after I've read this, I don't think I want to see it. The start of this book was okay, but the thing I don't get is that Mia sounds like she doesn't care that her family just died. All she cares about is herself, and maybe her boyfriend.

I did not find this book heartbreaking whatsoever. She finds her father's actual brains scattered on the asphalt, she just thinks it's some kind of dream? Then she sees her mother lying pale and dead,

She goes to the hospital end of story. Really. Yes, there is memories and visits, but I find the whole concept unbearably boring. Towards the end of the story, Mia says she grows weaker everyday, something along those lines. The thing is: she is in a coma and the one who is feeling this is something like a ghost!

Yes, some of the memories were better than others, but if the setting didn't take place in the hospital, I might've liked it better (hospitals are unbelievably boring).
