“Sometimes you make choices in life and sometimes choices make you.”
Well, the original plot had all the potential of being stupid and senseless but that's not the case. Gayle Forman managed to capture all the details of death; giving us the full experience and sometimes I would become so overwhelmed by my emotions that I was sobbing in my pillow like a ten-year-old.
I'm surprised an author could pull off that kind of book considering how easy it could turn out to be a complete joke.

I was drawn to this book because the movie was coming out, but after I've read this, I don't think I want to see it. The start of this book was okay, but the thing I don't get is that Mia sounds like she doesn't care that her family just died. All she cares about is herself, and maybe her boyfriend.

This book is definitely worth reading! It's about Mia, and she gets into a tragic accident. Her brother dies and her parents too. Adam (her boyfriend), Kim (her best friend), and her grandparents understand that if she goes with her family it's alright. But all of them want her to stay. So she must choose: will she stay? Or will she go? I cried during this, but only a little. It's super good, definitely recommend it to both girls and boys. Super good!
