This may be titled into The Ravenels Series, but only a couple Ravenels put in cameo appearances in this book. It would have been better titled into The Wallflowers Series. Lisa really must have loved Sebastian because he plays a major part in this book. Anyway, I loved this story and I love Sebastian too. I also love a kick-ass, take charge heroine and Merritt was all that and more, a woman who saw what she wanted and went for it, or him, rather. Kinda like another heroine in this series did. I

Devil in Disguise
4.5 Stars
Series note: Although listed as book #7 in The Ravenels series, this is actually a continuation of Kleypas's Wallflowers. I highly recommend reading the earlier series before the Ravenels as there are also other connections in previous installments (particularly books #3 and #5).
Merritt Sterling, intelligence, wit, and charm enable her to handle any conflict while running her late husband's shipping business. These traits stand her in good stead when Keir MacRae, an ira ...more

Devil in Disguise features new characters in the series. I enjoyed the characters and their story, but there were missing pieces to the overall book for me. These characters bring in unknowns from The Wallflowers series. Sebastian Evie, Lillian, and Marcus are connected to Merritt and Keir.
While this story was okay for me, it missed the big WOW that I came to expect from Lisa Kleypas. Merritt is a strong, independent woman when we meet her at her husband’s business. She is a woman way ...more

Devil In Disguise by Lisa Kleypas
Narrated by Mary Jane Wells
Series: The Ravenels Book 7, Ravenels Meet The Wallflowers Book 3
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this series and this addition was wonderful! Watching the characters intertwine with the ones from all the previous books I have enjoyed just makes it feel like being amongst family.
Mary Jane Wells is fantastic at her narrations and seeing her name on this project made it even easier to pre-order this book.
Merritt and Keir are a perfect match and right away ...more
