As of this time this is the last book in the Lucy Kincaid series. I'm sad that it was only a novella, but at least it resolved some of the issues left from the last book. Here's hoping that the publisher will reconsider and let Allison Brennan continue this series. I think there are many more Lucy and Sean stories yet to be told.

FBI Agent Lucy Kincaid and her husband, Sean Rogan, are attending a law enforcement conference in Sacremento. Sean worked on a high-tech drone which is being presented at the conference. But Sean is having problems dealing with the fallout of being arrested for a murder he did not commit, and his mind isn't on his work. I'm really glad that I read this novella right after I completed the book just before it. Sean was in a bad place, and I really wanted to see what it took for him and Lucy to get back to a good place.
