I have to admit that I am deeply invested in these Prefect Gentlemen characters and I care deeply what happens to Dax and Holland. I don't normally get this deeply involved with characters, but I am with these two. For the first half of the book, Then, my heart was breaking for Dax knowing what is going to happen. Big Easy Temptation is my favorite Perfect Gentleman so far. Everything worked for me. I love the two main characters, Dax Spenser, and Holland Kirk. The romance in the story is captivating from the beginning. Both characters are strong, independent, slightly damaged people. Dax is a naval officer and Holland is an NCIS agent. Dax is interested in Holland and needs her help to clear his father’s name.
