The story resumes following the aftermath of Sebastian’s introduction of his Endarkened army and last attack. Jace is grappling with his heavenly fire, Alec is trying to come to terms with his breakup with Magnus, Simon and Isabelle are trying to defining their relationship, Luke and Jocelyn are planning their wedding and the search continues to find Sebastian.

Sebastian Morgenstern is using the Infernal Cup to turn Shadowhunters into something not quite human. He has new allies and uses their help to kidnap the Downworlder representatives on the Clave. Clary, Jace, Simon, Isabelle and Alec learn of this betrayal and travel to the realm of demons to rescue them and stop Sebastian.

Realmente el libro es larguísimo y muy intenso; te mantiene con las emociones a flor de piel de forma constante. Hubo varios momentos en los que creí que Cassandra iba a sacar mi instinto asesino a flote pero después daba vueltas de tuerca y las cosas se recuperaron más o menos bien.
No me voy a poner a nombrar cada uno de los personajes porque eso sería prácticamente imposible pero me gustó que al menos los principales tienen un buen desenlace..... hay algunas "bajas" que realmente me dolieron y no sé si se lo merecían.
Si bien es el final de la saga y los conflictos más importantes se resuelven quedan algunos cabos sueltos que supongo se retomarán en la próxima saga con la historia de Emma y Julian. Si bien ya no hay guerra las consecuencias de los acuerdos posteriores se van a sentir... estoy de acuerdo con Magnus en eso!
Yo no he leído Los Origenes pero digamos que me enteré buena parte de la historia gracias a las apariciones de Jem y Tessa después de tantos años.

En conclusión es una saga que tiene DE TODO, es adictiva, conmovedora y mágica.

Overall, this was a good and satisfying end to one of my favorite series. It's probably more of a 3.5 star than a 4 just because it drug on quite a bit, but I feel the need to round up considering how much I have loved these characters over the past 5+ years.

I enjoyed this last installment.... but I feel like it should have ended with Sebastian... Everything after that felt like it was being dragged out... I hated the stuff with Simon. But an overall good ending... lots of resolution with the characters and the opening for the next series spinoff Dark Artifices.
