I was wondering how this final book in the trilogy was going to tie up so many loose ends left dangling after the last book but I guess I shouldn’t have been concerned as this was a whopping 16 hours+ long! If I’ve any complaint it’s that it was too long even though there was a lot going on. With that said, it all led up to a very satisfying and extraordinary ending.

Tessa Gray has been abducted by Mortmain and most use her own knowledge and strength to escape. Jem is extremely sick and unable to go after Tessa, so Will goes. Mortmain's plan to destroy the Shadowhunters with his automatons is a go and Charlotte Branwell must rally her troops, without the help of the Clave, to stop him.

Tessa Gray loves two men. Her heart is divided equally between them. And they love each other as brothers as much as they lover her. Jem has won her hand, so Will must stand back and let them have whatever time together they can. But, before there can be a wedding, their enemy, Mortmain returns to try to destroy them all.

Review:
In this final installment in the Infernal Devices series, it leads up to the final battle with Mortmain, and all the clockwork automatons. While trying to figure out where Mortmain is hiding as well as for Charlotte to prove the enclave of it being ok that she is the Institute leader in London. Tessa and Will are also trying to find a cure for Jem as well as trying to understand the feelings they're having towards each other.

What a nice end to the trilogy! I think this is one of the few books that can pull off a love triangle that satisfies both camps. I was never a Jem fan for the romance, but it led to a very touching story. I wish this had a little more action in the middle. At times it plodded along without much purpose other than to have characters pine for each other. Overall, it still resonated with me emotionally and I very much enjoyed it.
