An excellent ending to a fantastic series.

The multiple plot lines and character storylines come together virtually seamlessly to create an awe-inspiring showdown between Aelin's allies and enemies. Kudos to Sarah J. Maas for keeping track of everyone and everything.

In addition to the non-stop action, Maas also provides a very satisfying closure to the different romance relationships and it was wonderful to see my favorite characters receive their HEAs. That said, there a ...more

In the final book of an amazing series we find Aelin and her court separated and fighting the war against Erawan. Aelin is being held captive in an iron coffin by Maeve while Rowan continues to look for her. Aedion and Lysandra are protecting Terrasen while Dorian and Manon make plans to find the 3rd Wyrdkey.

Muchos personajes a lo largo muchos reinos, muchos poder y muchas naturalezas pero un único objetivo: paz. Poder vivir en paz, todos esos reinos y toda la gente en ellos. Fuera del poder de Maeve y Erawan.

Maeve y Erawan tienen

Muchos personajes a lo largo muchos reinos, muchos poder y muchas naturalezas pero un único objetivo: paz. Poder vivir en paz, todos esos reinos y toda la gente en ellos. Fuera del poder de Maeve y Erawan.

Maeve y Erawan tienen una historia de persecución desde mucho antes que la mayoría de los personajes nacieran... es algo así como una batalla heredada que se convierte en una verdadera guerra que tiene que terminar. Aelin y Dorian son los descendientes directos de los monarcas que no pudieron ponerle fina a la eterna lucha de los Valgs; por ello se debe sus extraordinarios poderes y valentía. Aelin es la clara protagonista de la historia, el sacrificio a pagar para derrotar a Erawan; no es perfecta, una ex-asesina a sueldo que se transforma totalmente en otra persona cuando descubre sus poderes y cuando conoce a Rowan, su compañero y la mitad de su alma; a pesar de todo el peso sobre ella, dudo mucho que ella hubiera podido llevar a cabo ésta empresa ella sola. No sería la misma historia sin todos los demás personajes.

El poder de las mujeres es algo a destacar a lo largo de toda la historia, Elide es humana y uno de los personajes más valientes de la historia, capaz de hacerle frente a todos a pesar de no tener poderes. Yrene es mi segunda favorita, es la clave de la destrucción de Erawan y de todos los Valg, ella hace llevadero leer el sexto libro cuando uno lo único que quiere es llegar al final de la historia y saltárselo, tiene mi total gratitud por permitirle a Caol tener un final feliz ya que ese personaje ha sufrido mucho a lo largo de la historia y se merece ese final. Lysandra y Manon son seres con poderes que les hace más fácil luchas pero igual de importantes en la historia.

Los hombres son igual de importantes pero son más como complemento: Dorian es sin dudas mi favorito; la forma en que el personaje crece de ser un príncipe consentido a ser el encargado de recuperar las llevar del Wird y su poder mágico bruto sin limites lo hace el protagonista con mayor cambio en toda la historia, fue poseído, hizo cosas atroces, sufrió la muerte de seres queridos y es capaz de enamorar a la bruja más temible de todo el reino!! Lo adoro, un verdadero Rey!! Rowan obviamente es digno de mención; Aelin no sería ella sin su esposo. Aedion es mi segundo favorito, también un príncipe guerrero desde la cuna que a pesar de los diez años donde se cree que Aelin ha muerto, él no pierde la esperanza y lucha por ver a su reina nuevamente en el trono y defender Terrasen; me dolió mucho lo de Gavriel, me hubiera gustado que hubieran podido compartir más tiempo y conocerse.

Todos y cada uno de los personajes son indispensables para esta historia. Es realmente fantástica de principio a fin; no sé si es un verdadero final feliz; al menos no lo es para todos. Pero es un buen final con mucha esperanza. Queda mucho trabajo para reconstruir Terrasen y los reinos poseídos durante tanto tiempo pero el trabajo en equipo, el compañerismo y la esperanza es la llama que los guiará.

“But Aelin, crowned and glowing, only said, “Walk with me.” She gestured to the gates behind her. “All of you.” This day did not belong to her alone. Not at all. And when they all balked, Aelin walked forward. Took Yrene Westfall by the hand to guide her to the front. Then Manon Blackbeak. Elide Lochan. Lysandra. Evangeline. Nesryn Faliq. Borte and Hasar and Ansel of Briarcliff. All the women who had fought by her side, or from afar. Who had bled and sacrificed and never given up hope that this day might come. “Walk with me,” Aelin said to them, the men and males falling into step behind. “My friends.” The bells still ringing, Aelin nodded to the guards at the castle gates. They opened at last, and the roar from the gathered crowds was loud enough to rattle the stars.”

Me encantó la forma de escribir de Sarah J. Mass, la forma de imaginar mundos que si bien es ficción es muy creíble... viví en Erilea durante mucho y realmente la voy extrañar.... pero volveré ...more

This book was amazing. It ended the way a final book in a very long series should end. It had battles and a huge war at the end. It had so many characters getting married that were together throughout most of the series. The characters that did die I thought were written perfectly.

I could go on and on but I won't. I loved the series, I loved this book and I'm sad it's over. ...more

This series is the definition of epic. I'm in awe how the author takes us through so many highs and lows. Book 7 is really a reunion of all the characters coming together for the final countdown. Marvelous ending. ...more
