I have some very mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, I get that what Miles went through was horrific, traumatic...all the bad "ics" you can think of. But on the other hand, I wanted to slap him and tell him to be brave, take a chance...don't be such a coward! Harsh? Maybe...but that's life.

I'm going to settle on 4 stars for this, taking one off because it was a little overly emotional in places for my taste. ...more

Leer esta historia es una montaña rusa emocional!!
Drama, es lo primero que se me viene a la mente. Madre mía que manera de crear drama!!!! Me gusta que la historia sea narrada desde dos puntos de vista: el de Tate en el presente y el de Miles hace 6 años atrás; uno sabe que algo terrible le pasó a Miles, que lo cambia por completo y lo lleva a crear una armadura alrededor de su corazón pero uno se pasa la mitad del libro adivinando que fué lo que pasó.

The ending of this book saved it from being a 2 star book for me. There was one point that I didn't love the way she wrote Miles part. The whole ending of this turned it around for me. It's just sad that it's so repetitive up until the last 3 chapters. I love romance and I know that they always have some miscommunication but this book had zero communication from Miles. It takes to the end of the book for Miles to talk about any part of his life.

I loved this book even though it was heart-wrenching and I cried through the last 75 pages. This was the first book I have read by Colleen Hoover and it won't be my last. I enjoyed the characters so much - Miles and Tate as well as Tate's brother Corbin, their friend Ian (all pilots) and especially Cap. Tate is a nurse -another reason why I enjoyed her character so much!! The relationship between Miles and Tate is based on Miles's two rules: never ask about his past and don't expect a future.
