Yessss!! So good! If you enjoy legal thrillers but have somehow missed this series (like i have 🤷🏻‍♀️) hurry up & pick up the first 1! Every book is good.. The perfect mix of the crimes & the courtroom, with the fantastic characters & relationships. Quick moving & original. Man I'm a fan, i can't wait to pick up the next 1! ...more

I listened to this Mickey Haller book and the narrator did a great job.

Mickey is defending against foreclosure fraud and then ends up defending against murder. His client Lisa was originally his client for foreclosure, but the police picked her up and charged her with the murder. Lisa had some run-ins with the bank manager in charge of her loan and the police believe that she killed him for revenge.
