I'm joined up with a group that reads a play every week or so, and it's a lot of fun. I haven't signed up for any parts yet, because the timing is rough (I showed up at the start of Act II, and had to go back to read Act I afterward). Hearing the words helps bring out the humor and the possibilities (straight reading makes it hard to make some jumps, like when they fall in love in two lines or something).
