It has been quite a while since I read Garden Spells. You do not have to have read that book to read this one, but I recommend it because it was such a good book. However, if you only have a chance to read this one, do not worry you will not be lost.

I love everything Sarah Addison Allen has written, so I eagerly awaited this sequel to Garden Spells. Sometimes when one anticipates something for a while, or it is given too much importance or talked about too much the result is disappointment, a feeling of being let-down. Not so with First Frost.
