Saved $10 because I Snagged @ the Library
I'm not sure if this book was too long because it was the beginning of a series and so it had a lot of set up, or if it was all the academia. I mean, clearly there is a lot of popularity for the Jack Ryan novels. And this was really great. But...sheesh. Clancy should have read Stephen King's rule about eliminating 10-15% of the novel. The action sequences were great. The information sections were just....a little overwhelming.
