So....I knew this book was controversial, but I didn't learn why until halfway through. The conspiracy theories contained herein are far from new. But the facts are very freely mingled with fiction. Particularly when it comes to authentic Bible content. (One wonders if Brown could have at least looked up his assertions in an actual Bible??)

Well if it weren't for the entertainment, I wouldn't have been able to get my mind off of other things . The Davinci code was there when I needed it. It kept me occupied and oblivious to the world around me . I chewed up the story and spit the BS out like grapes of wrath .
