This is just a neat book. Love how the short story reviews tie in with each chapter. The basic bones of the plot fairly reek of Silas Marner...but it's so different and fun and enjoyable you don't mind and still have no idea what is coming, and wonder if it isn't on purpose anyway. The repeated literary references, winks, nods, and implications are so numerous that you don't know how many are really there and how many you are imagining...and for sure you d ...more
