I'm not usually a reader of great big doorstop type novels. (No time, commitment issues, blah blah..) However, having read a few shorter books by the author I decided to give this one a go.
Good decision, as it turns out.
What a wonderfully crafted tale this is. The story unfolded, and Gaiman, as always, reeled me in with his beautifully drawn, idiosyncratic characters, sweeping and constantly evolving landscape, and a plot so bold and so whip-smart, that every few chapters I found myself smiling ...more
