As much as I loved this book, I struggle a little with it. Although I know it would have spoiled the plot twists, a character list would’ve been great. Why? As suggested in the title the book follows different Gods (not all American:) but they have “regular people” names sometimes, other times referred to by their mythological name. And this gets switched around depending on the “speakers” point of view. Despite this, the twists were wonderful. A beautiful book
An extraordinary fantasy and adventures about American culture on this mysterious land. The myths, traditions and cultures derived from the immigrants all over the world which shaped America itself. From the beginning I immediately got hook up to Neil's story telling and still stunned by him being British but making efforts to finish a work of American stuff. The wild imagination brought me to another world.

It’s recently come to light that Neil Gaimon is a sexual predator and NOBODY should be reading his books or supporting his work at all. Don’t believe me then read the new article about all of his depravity in the Vulture article. I warn you that it has ALLof the trigger warnings. It’s absolutely disgusting
