Very well written. Either my brain chemistry transformed around the time I read this book or this book changed my brain. Either way I can find myself somewhat visualizing fiction now when I never could before. It's not as deep/philosophical as I would have hoped, but there are nuggets there and hints that there may be deeper things I am missing. ...more

Nota: 5/5

Not my favorite Gaiman. It felt like a salad with 50 vegetables crammed into a single bowl. The writing was (obviously) good, but there was too much going on in the plot and way too many lucid dreams. But then again, I might just have unreasonably high expectations for Gaiman...

American Gods was an Eye-opening, gory and nerve racking story that everyone should give a try. Sometimes as the plot thickened it was slightly hard to follow, yet gaiman once again used his unbelievable and ingenious talent to produce a piece of work that amazingly exhibits the extreme segregation, as well as unimaginable limits that people of power are ready to go through just to get what they want.

I loved this book, but I must say I loved the Graveyard book more 😬
