I’ve become a fan of D. L. Wood
Unexpected Target was my third book by D. L. Wood (A Criminal Game, Secrets She Knew), and so far, she has not chased me away with sappy romance 😝.
Even though she said 'Unexpected Target' was more romantic 😝 than the previous two, it was my favorite of the three. Yes, there was more romance 😝; it wasn't too sappy. Predictable? Yes, but aren't all romances 😝 predictable. If they weren't, they wouldn't be romantic 😝 if it ended up boy and girl don't fall in love.
