I didn't know at the outset that this would be the weird story of Eva Duarte's corpse(s) and its global peregrinations. I thought it would be more about her life than her death, though her life was covered too. I didn't know much about the Perons at all, so it was good to correct that, since in reading a work of fiction like this you need to do some research for context.
