What Members Thought
I enjoy the themes and writing style in Modernist style novels. I feel as if my generation (or every generation) can relate to disillusion and emptiness. I really enjoyed Brett's character. I didn't expect a woman like her ("liberated")in this novel and the love story/ lack of a love story between Brett and Jake was written with heartbreaking honesty.
