I just could not put it down. It is horrific and terror awaits at every turn. King is just a master at developing his characters and making the hair on the back of my neck stick up. I have seen the movie of course, but the book is sooo much better. There's a different ending and Wendy was not a screaming dish rag.

This has been on my TBR for awhile now. I was surprised at how different it was from film and have to say I like to book better. I don't know if I am just numb these days or what but I cant say that i was frightened by this book. It has a definite creep factor to it. I thought is was very well written. I'm excited to read Dr. Sleep soon!

kept waiting for all the film images to come through in the book but they didnt. still enjoyed it once the pace of the story got going :)
