I just finished reading this book for the second time. I started to read Doctor Sleep but as I started it made me want to revisit The Overlook Hotel. So that is what I did. I think this is probably one of the top 3 Stephen King books for me. It fits together nicely, all the pieces make sense and nothing bad happens to anyone I like. (That’s a lie, but it’s a nice one).

Audio version is good. I read the print version years and years ago in the little purple paperback form and I have the Omnibus with Carrie and something else, in hardback.

5/5 would listen again.

King at his best. Really fun to re-read with all the comparisons to the film out there now.
