What Members Thought
I thought this was a very well written book, as it should've been, as it took the author a number of years to complete it. It is a slower read, because the atmosphere and setting of the book are so rich. The crimes committed in the book are complicated enough, but then when you add the highly charged political history of the time, this combination is like a lit powder keg.
