I came across this anonymous quote and it certainly applies to this book:

**SHEER TERROR THAT YOU JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF!!!
No other writer has stirred my deepest, most intense emotions the way that Lucian Bane has with this book! The story seeped inside me like a cold, creepy fog. The characters lived and breathed in me as I read, and it was not only my emotions that responded to the intense scenes. Mind-blowing and unputdownable. Lucian Bane’s sick house of horror full of death-crazed psychopaths got me jaw-dropping and spine-chilling. I can’t wait to read what’s coming next.
