A love story told in pictures, as an auction catalog. Leanne Shapton shows the evolution and the downfall of a relationship through the pictures of the objects and memorabilia that two people have exchanged, used or given each other in the course of four years: the ticket stubs, the books, love notes and messages scribbled on scraps of paper, stuff they bought to furnish their apartment together. Totally brilliant.
Sheila Heti, author of How Should a Person Be? stars as the female love interest
