This book has everything: kids dying, adultery, smut, an aborted dolphin fetus, main character deaths, copaganda, class commentary, racism?, the mafia. Yeah.
It's kind of funny that the book is more explicit in a lot of ways than the movie, which is just a good reminder of Hollywood's history of relative prudishness.
