I have been looking forward to reading "The Reader" for years having heard it was a fantastic book and one of ones that "everyone should read". And when the day finally came that I went to a book shop soon after world Book night and they were giving it away for free - naturally I was estatic! "A free book - hell yeah!" - then realizing it was "The Reader" ..well, I couldn't possibly refuse.
