At times I found the author whiny, full-of-herself, and/or self-centered, but overall I still enjoyed the book. Maybe it's hard to avoid these pitfalls if you're writing an autobiography. She's obviously a talented writer and the book made me think about my own life and beliefs. I saw the movie and I wasn't sure if I'd like the book as I didn't care for the film, but as usual, the book was definitely better. Jāatzīst, no visām trim daļām uzrunāja tikai Indija jeb "Lūdzies". Pārējais atgādināja draudzenes pārmērīgu, visai nogurdinošu tarkšķēšanu par saviem brīnišķīgajiem piedzīvojumiem pasakainos ceļojumos.
