My opinion
This is one of the best written and inspiring books i've ever read. It is a really deep deep spiritual book that makes you look inside your self and see some faith in the world around you and in a higher power. Pi is a small boy looking for god in 4 different religions all at once. His family is moving to canada from india on a boat and the boat sinks and his family dies. Ik had verwacht dat het saai ging zijn, het hoofdpersonage zit tenslotte toch de hele tijd op een boot in het midden van de stille oceaan, maar Yann Martels schrijfstijl kon me wel bekoren. Het leest heel vlot en daarnaast heb ik ook nog wat survival-skills opgedaan. Win-Win!
