It was everything unexpected and different from what I know and what I've learned. It seems like it was written in a short amount of time but I'm sure every word was chosen carefully. In comparison with the movie, there were some moments I preferred the way it was written over the way it was interpreted for the screen, and vice versa. I hope Palahniuk's other books are as creative as this one.

Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk was my high school boyfriend's favorite novel, but I felt meh about the movie. Too judgemental about the fact that you didn't realize Tyler and the narrator are one and the same.
