I wrote a review and it got deleted so I will write this:
This is not a perfect book. The plot is chopped and tangled and pulled and sometimes non existent. Some chapters are impossible to leave. Some chapters are tedious to get through. Some characters are impossible not to love (Grandfather, Alex, I'm looking at you). Some characters are despicable or worse, boring (sorry everyone in Trachimbrod 1791, but I could have done without the lot of you). But this book was so fresh. It was so honest. ...more
