I liked the premise of the story but the writing was unbearable! It is so pieced together and random that it doesn't come across as artistic but more like someone just randomly pulling images out of the air! I can do that too! A clock, the picture in the frame, the pig and the sea of pearls, swirling happiness like a rainbow unicorn, Halloween candy...death. See! That would drive you nuts! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! Maybe I just didn't grasp it but this book was just not my cup of tea.
