I have never watched the movie related to this book, so I had no idea what to expect when reading Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. This is a children's novel and I found it quite similar to Where the Red Fern Grows, great riding, but incredibly sad story.

needs more description....it really sad because the author had a wonderful idea that was not well carried out. :(
