What Members Thought

Starting this book, it seemed nice, quiet, and endearing. It follows the nuances of the life of Briony, a little girl, and an aspiring writer. Things escalate suddenly, before blowing me away at the end.
My favourite thing about this book is the descriptions. Whether the author speaks of inner workings of the minds or describes the atmospheres of the real world, he was remarkable.
