The writing was atrocious...I'm serious, it was absolutely abysmal. It would get Twilight-level descriptive, (I do not need to know that Sookie washed her hair and shaved her legs in the shower before brushing her teeth and going to bed!!) and annoyingly over-explanatory, (Okay, I'm pretty sure I could figure out on my own why she brushed her butt off after sitting on the ground...please do not explain it to me.)
