This book was amazing. Even though the back of the book makes it seem childish, its easy to get lost in this book. This series is better that the Warriors series in motive, writing, and and plot. This is a Christian fantasy novel which starts out more like just any fantasy. Even though im not enthralled by Midieval history (which this doesnt have much of but some) and the idea of dragons in present day and age, this book changed that all.

I LOVED this book. I don't know how I got by without this awesome series. Now that I've read this, everything else seems boring.

One of my favorite fantasy book ever! While marketed toward younger readers, there's no reason why older teenagers can't enjoy this book too. The story is creative and the characters are a welcome relief from the stereotypes found in most teen fiction books. (Finally, a book where teenagers don't cuss or use drugs!) And while Davis is not the best writer in the world, the actual plot more than makes up for it.

i've already read this entire series and i love it! it's definitely one of my favorites. it's even comparable to "the chronicles of narnia". there is plenty of Christianity throughout the entire book. the author definitely lets you know what he believes. there is also plenty of action. i've never gotten bored reading these.
