I hadn't read a Paulo Coelho book for a while and this book has reminded me what I love about his writing. I am definitely intending to read more of his work. I love the way the prose pulls you in and keeps you interested. There are many inspirational and spiritual passages in the novel which seem to be written with the intention of giving hope and direction to the reader.

There is no doubt of how brilliant Coelho is!
This is the story of a man whose wife has abandoned him. He starts searching for her, but in the way he actually finds a new whole world he has been missing about himself, and how it is not too late to live on it.
This is an excellent book that from now on would be on my favorite´s shelf.

As usual, Paulo have profound insight in his works. Just what I needed. Everyone have its own Zahir in their life, whether it teach you something in life or wreck your life. True freedom is really the ability to free oneself with attachment or ownership of something that you love. By leaving your pain in the past, only then you can move forward.
