I finished reading this book right around when I finished The Age of Miracles, so I've read two completely different pre-apolcalyptic novels in the last few weeks. Both of them do ask the same kind of question, though: If you knew when your last day on Earth would be, how would you live the rest of your days? I enjoyed the book. I like murder mysteries and this was one. The fact that this was one at the end of the world was a new twist. I did not like that very end, I think it was because I didn't what the sister did. Don't want to be a spoiler so that is all I will say

I liked the concept of the book, but I thought the narration style was a little too dry for my taste.
