An interesting story that seems ever more relevant today than it was all those years ago. I believe too many people focus on the role of the government in this book when the real problem is the role of the people. People were more focused on technology and entertainment than reading and understanding. Ok, It has been 40 years since I read this one as well. I recall a great deal, especially the robotic hound. The parts that made an impression on me were the Sci-Fi stuff all those years ago. This go around I think the work is quite transparent and the message quite clear. The work itself is an easy read, not a huge task. The Sci-Fi is dated but fun.
